KadabraCon is proud to welcome back DJ Sephi Hakubi!

Sephi Hakubi is an electronic musician, anime fan, video gamer, and DJ. He was born in New Jersey but grew up in South Florida; from there, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, which took him to places like Hawaii, back to Florida, and eventually settling in San Anotnio, Texas. Many of the places he had lived had influenced his career in incredible ways in his teen years. In South Florida, he was introduced to dance music thanks to Party 93.1FM back in 2001. He was also a lifelong anime fan and his assignment in Hawaii was where he attended his first anime convention, Kawaii Kon 2006, and then his first anime rave at Kawaii Kon 2007; since then, he knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life and that was to combine the Pure Dance Renaissance from the rave culture and combine them with his work and passion in anime to create what he has called AnimEDM™.
