Masquerade rules:
Must have a VALID IKKICON BADGE, FORMAL ATTIRE, MASK IS REQUIRED (masks on sticks allowed), NO SANDALS or CROCS. NO WEAPONS OF ANY SORT ALLOWED.
Attire Guidelines:
While formal attire is strongly encouraged we understand not everyone has it relatively available. Polo shirts, khakis, jeans, and t-shirts are permitted. Shorts and kigurumis are PROHIBITED. Dresses must be at least knee to floor length. High-low dresses are allowed as long as the shortest part of the skirt is knee length. No garment should be overly see-through: if it has translucent or see-through material, the undergarment has to at least abide by the IKKiCON cosplay dress code. No garment should be overly revealing (no extreme low cut, no mid-drifts, no slits that go too high, etc.) Lolita, Ouji, Traditional Eastern formal attire, ethnic dress, and formal steampunk attire are allowed.
Footwear
Appropriate formal footwear is strongly encouraged. Open-toed shoes should be worn with caution.
Suits
Tuxedos, suits, vests, dress shirts, ties, and sports coats are highly encouraged.
Cosplay and Prop guidelines
Cosplays will be allowed as long as they adhere to all masquerade rules. Wigs, Headgear, or hats that are excessive in size may be turned away at the door. Props longer than arm’s length will not be allowed. Wigs are allowed as long as they are nice and neat. Do not show up with a wig that looks like its been through “some stuff”. Care about your appearance.
Personal Hygiene
Please take proper hygienic measures for social interactions and spaces. As the ballroom reaches capacity, the temperature may become very warm. Deodorant is recommended. No excessive use of perfumes, body sprays, or cologne, please. Excessive use may induce headaches for those who have allergies. Please take other attendees into consideration. If caught using sprays excessively, we may ask you to leave.
