CTC GeekFest 2015 will be BIGGER and BETTER! Don’t miss the fun at the Mayborn Science Theater, August 14 – 16. Our fan-driven event features activities for kids and adults including video game and LAN tournaments, contests, movie screenings, interactive video game demonstrations, movies, presentations and entertainment by local groups and companies, vendor booths and prize drawings.
CTC GeekFest 2015 welcomes Sephi Hakubi as special guest headliner for the AnimEDM Dance event. Mixing 2 hours of the best in Electronic Dance Music: Trance, Progressive House, Electro, Hardcore, and of course Japanese-core / AnimEDM. Sephi will also be a guest judge, panelist, and host for the rest of the weekend, conducting a couple Q&As as well as a series of panels. A wristband is required for all GeekFest patrons over the age of 12. GeekFest is a fundraiser for scholarships for our student ambassadors and wristbands are our way of ensuring we cover our costs and generate money for those scholarships!
Wristband options and pricing:
- Advance purchase (July 1- August 13)
- Three-day all-inclusive pass $20 (includes five opportunity prize tickets)
- VIP pass, in advance (50 total will be sold, including any sold at early bird pricing) $50 includes t-shirt, VIP badge, swag bag, 10 opportunity prize tickets, reserved seating for dome events.
- At the door:
- Three-day $30 ($25 for military/family members/CTC facullty, staff and students)
- One-day $15 ($12 for military/family members/CTC facullty, staff and students)
